Current news stories are available at courierpostonline.com. You can search for articles back to 1999 on their archives page. There are fees to access the full-text articles in the archives. Obituaries are available online in conjuction with Legacy.com, and go back to 2007.
You may also access the Courier Post back to 1999 at the Camden County Library, using the Proquest database. If you have a Camden County Library membership card, you may also access Proquest from outside the library.
Rutgers’ Robeson Library in Camden has the Courier-Post on microfilm back to 1909. The Camden County Historical Society has the Courier-Post on microfilm from 1892 to 1959, in addition to other Camden County area newspapers. The Camden County Library, Voorhees, has the Courier Post on microfilm from 1876-1889, 1923-1931, and 1946-present.
The Gloucester City News
The Gloucester City News, founded on July 1st, 1927, is a weekly newspaper serving the towns of Gloucester City, Bellmawr, Brooklawn, Westville, Mount Ephraim and Southern Camden County. The newspaper covers local news, including town meetings, ordinances, community events, sports, and obituaries.
Original and print editions of the Gloucester City News for the years 1983, 1984, and 2003 to the present are available at the Gloucester City Library. 1989-2003 are housed at the Gloucester City Historical Society. Microfilm for 1928 – 2014 may be viewed here at the library.

Gloucester City News Obituaries
n April, 2012, the Gloucester City news gave us permission to begin making available online the full text of obituaries which have run in the newspaper. We receive them as text documents from the newspaper, which we are merging together into one PDF file for each month. Names are not in alphabetical order; please use the Search or Find feature in your PDF reader to locate the name you are looking for. If you need to install the PDF reader software on your compuer, we suggest either Adobe Reader or Foxit Reader.
Please note that not all obituaries for residents of other towns are indexed or available in full text.
If you need to see an obituary exactly as it appeared on the newspaper page, you may still view, copy, or print it out from our back issues or microfilm collection.
