In April, 2012, the Gloucester City news gave us permission to begin making available online the full text of obituaries which have run in the newspaper. We receive them as text documents from the newspaper, which we are merging together into one PDF file for each month. Names are not in alphabetical order; please use the Search or Find feature in your PDF reader to locate the name you are looking for. If you need to install the PDF reader software on your compuer, we suggest either Adobe Reader or Foxit Reader.
Please note that not all obituaries for residents of other towns are indexed or available in full text.
If you need to see an obituary exactly as it appeared on the newspaper page, you may still view, copy, or print it out from our back issues or microfilm collection.
